    iN a live casino setting with a shoe using six to eight decks. for instance say the dealer uses a machine to shuffle because he is counting cards himself. so then the dealer shuffles everytime the count shifts to a player advantage.

    Ahh, that's the opposite of random. If you suspect a dealer of preferential shuffling, it would be useful to know the venue.

    That's a preferential shuffle-tantamount to cheating by the casino. Who would play in a casino that cheats its customers?
