    NFL Stats


    To any NFL fans:

    Where can I find NFL stats like:

    Up to NFL 2014 Week # 5, there had been 75 games played. Of those, what are ...

    number of favorites winning?
    number of favorites covering?
    number of home teams winning?
    number of home teams covering?
    number of home favorites winning?
    number of home favorites covering?
    number of road favorites winning?
    number of road favorites covering?

    how often was the totals "over" in Sept?
    how often was the totals "over" in Oct?


    Where can I find the same stats for Years 2012 & 2013?

    Thanks very much, Gamblor! I think this will get me most, if not all, the stats I think I need. There is still the matter of the 40-page manual to fully use it, but the simple queries will suffice for now.

    To NFL newbies: Please perform your own analysis. Confirm any stats presented. Draw your own conclusions.

    Handicapping is EXTREMELY hard! All statistical evidence (and game insights) may indicate strongly a specific outcome, winner, or continuing trend; but a turn-over, a missed field goal, an erroneous call, a key injury, etc. can easily change the outcome, the margins, and/or the totals. Division rivalry games and games with playoff implications are highly unpredictable.
