    Blackjack Instructional DVDs

Is any of the following blackjack instructional DVDs worthwhile:

    1. Blackjack Science Counting and Betting Techniques with Semyon Dukach - Dukach was with the MIT Blackjack Team.
    2. Blackjack Science Advanced Techniques with Semyon Dukach - This second DVD has been reduced in price from over $200 to about $25.
    3. 60 Minutes to Winning Blackjack DVD - with members of the MIT Blackjack Team.
    4. Beating Blackjack with Andy Bloch - Bloch was with the MIT Blackjack Team.

Does anyone recommend any other blackjack instructional DVDs?

IMHO I feel you would be better off buying BJ books & software from well known authors...

I've seen all of these and I also vouch for skipping the DVDs unless you are a complete beginner, in which case you will find Andy Bloch's short but to the point and also entertaining.
Overall they're not terrible, but you will feel underwhelmed and come out expecting more. You would probably learn just as much watching a BJ documentary.

I found the info on steering/cut card play in Blackjack Science Advanced Techniques worthwhile; don't remember reading about it in detail in books (at least not anything besides steering an ace to your hand).

I have read most of the good blackjack books. I practice with Casino Verite. I understand standard deviation. I am a low stakes player.

    Boardwalker,

Judging by your handle you are an Atlantic City habitué

There are simply no playable low stakes games in A.C.

However, there are good low stakes games in Pennsylvania.

ZenMaster_Flash, you are right on all counts. Conditions in Atlantic City are abominable. They were great from 1978 through mid 1981, when the casinos had to use early surrender, das, s17, and 3:2, and maintain set percentages of $2 and $5 tables at all times. The only bad rule was nrs. Are the PA casinos smoke-free? What is the law on backing off, barring and detaining suspected counters in PA? I haven't been in Atlantic City in more than 5 years, but I used to play there. I will go to Revel for its smoke free casino in the fall. I will go to Philly or Bethlehem also. Which casino in eastern PA has the best conditions?
