Odds on "Lucky Ladies" side wager?

My local casino offers a Lucky Ladies side wager which has the following odds:
    4:1 for any 20
    10:1 for suited 20
    25:1 for matching 20
200:1 for 2 queens of hearts
1000:1 for 2 queens of hearts with dealer blackjack.

Additionally, there is a payout limit of 15,000 despite a maximum of $25 on the side wager itself.

I'm wondering if this is viable at any index. Additionally, the newer dealers often cut to 5 decks on a 6 deck shoe by accident.

That link above seems to just tell you the house edge if you aren't counting. This may be more useful to you: http://www.blackjackincolor.com/blackjacksidebet1.htm

Note that this is different payout schedule than OP.

    Good catch.

That casino is using the double deck payouts for a 6 deck game, which is good because it lowers the house edge on that bet by about 8%.

This page has some good information, but it's also using the normal 6 deck payout, not the payout in question. http://web.archive.org/web/20030407221336/cardcounter.com/Lucky_Ladies.htm

It can be fairly vulnerable with very deep pen. Usually it's not worth a ton on a shoe game.

You can also modify your count, as certain counts have better correlations with the bet (i.e. zen is probably a bit better than Hi-lo).

And I think you should be side-counting the queens of hearts if you want to make this bet. Not a lot of work for a lot better betting correlation.

According to BJ in Color, Lucky Ladies has a positive player edge at True +7. I'm not sure if playing the $25 max wager or $15 for max payout is the better wager.

I would think playing $25 would be better because you are much more likely to get one of the lesser payouts than you are to get the two queen of hearts against a dealer blackjack.

Possibly. I don't imagine the math would be too difficult on that. If I get a chance I'll look into it because I also have this side bet available to me.
