Playing 2 deck game vs 6 deck low limits

    Hi,

I played a 2D H17 DAS no surrender no RSA and played 6D H17 DAS LS RSA both games $10 minimum. I was spreading pretty aggressive on both, 1-16 on the 6 and 1-10 on the 2. I was thinking that it might be less conspicuous and more profit to play the 2 deck at a 1-8 spread as the max bet is only 80 vice 160. Any help is appreciated.

What is the house edge for the 6 deck and 2 deck blackjack game? Second, what are the table conditions? We will need both information to determine whether or not the game is playable. Or you can do a simulation using CVCX.

Since I don't know what penetrations you are talking about, I used 75% pen for the 6d game and tried to match the 2d game by SCORE.

    I hope it helped.

Sorry, the third image is a repetition. I don't know why that happened...

What count system did you use to simulate both games?

Sorry, I forgot to say that. If not otherwise requested, I always use High-Low with Sweet 16 and Fab 4.

More people get put in the various national casino databases and have their photo faxed around Las Vegas for the first time by playing Double Deck than any other game. Stick to shoes unless your top bet is less than 2@$150 or you have the bankroll required to sustain the variance of some clever cover strategy. Now that casinos mostly hit soft 17 and deal around 60% on most double deck games you have to pretty blatantly spread 1-8 like a counting robot to beat these games...that makes it easy for the casino to pick you off 20 to 30 minutes.

Shoe games are a tough way to go. There is not that many shoe games left in Las vegas with good table conditions.

I would agree that Vegas is a toilet. The tradeoff is that at lower stakes you can play double deck and get lots of time at the tables. When you move to 2@$300+ top bets shoes become a better alternative and you can still get lots of time at the tables until your top bet gets to be 2@$500 or higher, then you're moving into casino hopping strategy or playing on big business weekends.
