Ace side count and playing strategy

My first post! I use Adv Omega II with ace side count. Are there situations where I should add the ace side count back into the running count for purposes of playing the hand? For example, with a 10 vs. 10, an ace would sure help me, and at that point, I know the dealer does not have an ace as the down card. What about 8 vs. 6, where an ace would help me, but would also help the dealer?

You would need to get the multi-parameter tables for the aces to see how to properly add them into the count for strategy deviations. The gain for using the ace side count for strategy purposes is small.

Are multi-parameter tables for aces available anywhere for Adv Omega II? They're not in Blackjack For Blood...

You would have to generate them with a program like CVData

The best book on ace side count is "The World's Greatest Blackjack Book" by Humble and Cooper. Even the book uses Hi-Opt I counting system, you can still use their tables (on page 269) to adjust the RC according to ASC.
