My sentiment exactly... I find it very curious that in a place that is supposed to be filled with great minds this discussion has come so far.

The odds of being cheated by a machine in a mainstream casino are extremely low. But, a discussion is worth having as there are players that play well off the beaten path, different jurisdictions have different laws, and some devices do have limited programming capability. The original MP21 tables had features that violated NV law. There are tables with audio pickups in the UK that would violate NV law. It would be insanely stupid for a large casino to cheat. But then, who said the guys that run these casinos are all sane?

In any case, this discussion seems to have run its course.

So you are not told how to enter special mode?

If ASM can decide if the card is a face card or not like the peep hole does and can push back or push through accordingly, then it can create clumps.

The One2six Plus has optical card recognition. It also has a mode that doesn't shuffle a deck at all, but deals it in the original order. Of course, you could also change the EPROM.

None of this is particularly interesting, in my mind. There are numerous ways a casino can cheat that are easier. But, they will be found out.

Is this a discussion board or a kindergarden?

Because it's a discussion board, not a kindergarten.

I had the opportunity to have a few of those machines in front of me and see how it works and there is nothing strange about the system function. Actually, I'm a full time player, I play almost 90% of the time against ASM's so, I know what Bjarg are talkin about.

You should try or buy one of these machines, and you will see.

Several casinos around the world that use ASM's and have a bad day with these machines, they quickly change to hand shuffle. You can ask a pit about it. Just think about it...

I am eagerly waiting to see this post in the disadvantage forum, right Norm?
congrats on going fulltime, hope your killing them
