Shoe dealt blackjack in the UK.

    Hi All,

I'm going to attempt to put together a list of places in the UK that still over shoe-dealt blackjack.

After the takeover of the Gala Casino estate by the Grosvenor group at the end of last year, finding
a casino in the UK that still offers games dealt from a shoe is becoming a challenge.

If you're based in the UK and know of any shoe-dealt games, please PM me with the venue, date
and any other details (ruleset, pen etc) and I'll add them to the list which I intend to publish on my
    web site.

    Many thanks,

    UK-21.

Hi. New member here in UK.
I’ve been reading years worth of threads to increase knowledge.
My local grosvenor casino uses CSM but has no problem opening up a table for £10 or £25 if I ask.
BTW. I’ve just started counting. I’m even at the moment. No exciting swing either way just yet. ...

I hope you're not trying to count against the CSM.

There was a time when I visited Las Vegas after CSM just came out, I was shocked that almost main floor tables, probably 90% of them, used CSM. I began to think counting in BJ will die after two or three more years. But ten or fifteen years later, most casinos have abandoned CSM. The key is that if players are united and refuse to play the CSM, then casinos have no choice.

I am based in London. Do you or your website have info on non-csm games in Europe? In UK the best shoe games are the Rainbow group..Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham and environs, the poker club in Nottingham, the Napoleon group...in London and Sheffield. Send me your website address via an email to me (check my email address here on my personal data page.

We prefer a CSM and we're neither counters nor ploppies.

I imagine it's a combination of factors. CSM plus poor procedure.

One day, 3 years ago, somewhere in western France I saw a dealer completely empty the CSM
    100% pen ! Who says better ?
Unfortunately I just discovered Blackjack and did not count.

I've had that happen once. It was the relief dealer who had just come from a shoe game.

Hey Chucky baby, non-csm games in Europe are pretty poor, so far I've found a sea of CSM with the occasional oasis... I can give you some pointers if you contact me. Couldn't see you email. Howz it in London? Napoleon chain up north play 4D 55% penetration..v.poor.

Whilst it sounds like a laudable thing to do this is a double edged sword. There are only about 4 or 5 shops in the UK with decent games and the last thing we want is a bunch of smart asses ruining what is ever increasingly becoming a rarity...
