I listen to Dylan nearly every week. But, I don't like his new album.

These are profound thoughts in an excellent quote for these tumultuous and dangerous times.
Many parts of the quote even appear to have been written for today's situations. I guess there really is "nothing new under the sun."

All governments suffer a recurring problem: power attracts pathological personalities. It is not that power corrupts but that it is magnetic to the corruptible. Some people have a tendency to become drunk on violence, a condition to which they are quickly addicted." - Frank Herbert, Chapterhouse: Dune.

First time I've seen Frank Herbert quoted. I've read pretty much everything he ever wrote.

For those who say failure is not an option:

I have not failed 700 times. I have succeeded in proving that those 700 ways will not work. When I have eliminated the ways that will not work, I will find the way that will work.”

    – THOMAS EDISON on inventing the light bulb.
