Did the Daniel Dravot Insurance Tweak improve the Insurance Correlation to KO?

It has been documented that there is an error in the way insurance is played with an ace-reckoned count. However, there is a slight gain to Daniel Dravot's insurance tweak compare to the traditional KO insurance indices. Somehow the insurance tweak was able to correct the mistake. For KO if the IRC = 0 for a six deck game the insurance index will be 23 but for TKO in "The Color of Blackjack" the insurance index is 24 which correspond to the TC = 4 and not TC = 3. I am suspecting that this tweak might improve the IC of the system from .78 to .813.

Does any experts want to take a look into it? I might not be correct.

I would say yes, but not as much as you think. Dravot says that when you decide if you want to take insurance or not you should add +1 to RC(After doing original count) for each Ace on the board. This helps make the balance of 10's to lows more accurate. This only recognizes Aces for the current hand though. Is that enough for a .033 increase? Your decision, I don't even know how to do sims for Dravots method.

In CVData or CVCX, in Define strategies, on the Insurance tab, select Dravot Insurance Tweak. CVCX is better for COB sims as the Depth-Bets function provides the ability to create optimal betting ramps for COB. The tweak has little gain.
