    4-Deck Pitch Game?

I made a quick walk through an out-of-the-way casino and found a new game (for me). It was a pitch game and it looked like as much as 4 decks in the dealer's hand. It seemed strange they were not dealing from a shoe. I didn't have more than a minute to check it out so I did not get a chance to see the penetration. I am wondering if I should make the effort to come back later. Does anyone have experience playing this type of game, and any things I should be considering beyond the normal sim math?

There are super thin decks. This is just like 2.5 decks.

Hard to believe there would/could be a 4 deck pitch game.

I want that pitcher for my baseball team. Or maybe in football or BBall.

Yeah, pretty much my reaction too. My first instinct was that it looked like 3 decks, but that would be very strange. The table next to it was clearly two decks. The pack looked fat and the dealer was noticeably working on getting a decent grip on it. The discard tray looked like 4 decks high max.
