CVBJ Wong Indexes Different than Book

The CVBJ indexes for Wong '94 are different than my "professional blackjack" by wong book. Why is that?

They change from edition to edition of the book. Also according to rules. You would have to give me an example.

Here is are most of the differences between the CVBJ '94 Wong indexes and the Professional BJ by Wong '94 edition book.

These are for a H17, 8 deck, DAS, RSA, LS game. One thing I noticed is that a lot of the CVBJ indexes for this game match up with the indexes for the Pro BJ book's S17 indexes... but not all of them do.

    cards............CVBJ index.......Pro BJ index

    13 v 2 .............-1 ..............0

    10 v A ..............4 ..............3

    11 v A ..............1 ............. 0

    A,4 v 4 .............-1 .............0

    A,5 v 3 ..............4 ............. 3

    A,8 v 6 ..............1 ............. 0

    9,9 v A ............. 3 ............. 1

I only have two copies. The original black leather bound and the first printing of the '94 version. There have been many printings since and various adjustments. I have added some adjustments by request over the years. Fact is, they are for four decks anyhow -- not eight decks. And, with eight decks, it wouldn't matter in the slightest which you used as the eight-deck game is all about betting. In fact, soft-doubling indices are essentially useless with eight decks.
