Situation- Deep into the shoe. Count is positive and you have a max bet out. The cut card comes out during the round. Time for a shuffle.
Do you ever say.........."C'mon [dealer name], I have to leave, let's do one more round before I go."

A dealer did this intentionally, w/out asking. I had stopped counting after I knew what my play decision would be on the 'last hand'. I was then so confused that he was dealing another hand, I did not even motion that I intended to make a bet before he began dealing. This dealer frequently disregards rules and purposely mispays. I would not recommend asking because you do not want to collude with a dealer. I recommend you tip after a dealer breaks rules in your favor.
It's hard for me to stomach tipping...also hard to stomach not tipping. I don't track it, but my guesstimation is that my tip rate approximates dealer pay errors. That I can stomach, because essentially, thru purpose or incompetence, the dealers are stealing and using me as a trustworthy strawman. I KNOW that's totally not what is going on, but I can look at it that way, and tipping does not affect my game. Surrender--greatest mispay generator ever.
Had a good laugh once playing with a new dealer in a deeply dealt 8deck game. Playing with 2 others. Cut card comes out mid round. At the end of the round she deals the next, we say nothing. I got a crappy hand and complained the hand was dealt after the cut. Pit allowed everyone who didnt want to play to take back bets and rest finish out the hand. Now the funny part, she repeated this action two more times! Haha. Got to take back a semi max bet 16 and a 14. Lost the third hand. Oh well.

While that's a smart move, wouldn't it be even more advantageous to allow her to continue making mistakes? Sure she makes a few more mistakes but the repetitive fixing will eventually clean up her game. Wouldn't allowing her to deal after the cut card, unbothered, for hours/days/weeks/months, be more advantageous in the long term?
Reviving an old thread because...anything better on the front page?
