    Calling in sick

Hey everybody, hope you all are doing well on this Thursday. Anybody ever call in sick from work to go play blackjack? Have done that a couple of times. Thinking about doing it tomorrow as well. Called in earlier in the week. One day I was glad I did and the next day was not so glad. Ended up ahead about $600 between the two days, but still. I didn't experience the high on the ride home on day two like I did on day one.

When a local casino offered a 2:1 BJ promo I took a paid vacation day. Fortunately for my employer (but unfortunately for me) the promo didn't last long.

I was waiting in line at the buffet when a lady in front of me declared, "oh, my God! I forgot to call out from work! What am I going to say? I hope they don't hear the music in the background!" I wondered if she still had a job after that!

The local casino calls my boss and offers to send a "temp" if he will let me come play...
