Greetings-
I am a 12 year vet of BS blackjack with many hours logged in with about 30 trips to Vegas. I have recently read a couple of books by Snyder and Wong. I own/run a business and have a family so my time at the tables is now limited to a few days a year at this time purely for fun. In my single days I played extensively (due to room comps) and got lucky and enjoyed winning more than losing with pure BS with progressive betting (I know lol) I am looking to take my game up to a part-time professional level. Here is my potential game plan and would love input from the vets here whom I have great respect and admiration for...
I live a short flight from Vegas and would like to dedicate a monthly 4 day trip to Vegas. I would likely take a early am flight on Mondays and depart Thursday evenings. I would like to start with a bankroll of $20k which I am in the process of gathering (should have by the end of summer) and only play at green chip spread 1-6 dd, 1-12 shoe. Red 7 is the count I am most comfortable with. I would have no problem starting with red chips but from extensive reading believe green chip min should be utilized to access the best strip rules (S17 and surrender) I love surrender and prefer to play with it although it seems to not give large advantage. I seem to prefer shoe games for some odd reason so I guess in one way its better to avoid counter traps, and to use surrender lol.
My cover is good and I have had some experience of heat when pit crews thought I was counting due to probably winning too much (best weekend ever walked away up 18k from a 4 day weekend of casino hopping on the strip)- ahhh memories- I digress.
I guess my questions are how feasible does one with experience believe this to be, and what kind of ROR/hourly average am I looking at. Any suggestions and imput would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time.
