    Blackjack Crusader: CE ?

If CE is the value of a wager then:

If one had the choice between a job paying $25 an hour or blackjack with a CE of $50 then the choice based on math is equal?

No! For your example to make sense (although there are, clearly, other considerations), you want the CE of the blackjack wager to be $25 also. That would be true if the EV were about double, or $50. You would thus be comparing a certain $25 working on your job to a risky $50 playing blackjack.
