rukus: question for Norm RE CVData and table delay option

    Norm,

I just want to confirm an option in CVData.
I am trying to simulate a delay in finding tables between wong-out and a subsequent wong-in, and want to confirm that when defining a betting strategy, the option to set a table delay is in SECONDS and not minutes. Could not find this clarified anywhere in the literature and wanted to confirm, as this is what makes sense to me.

    Thanks,
    Rukus

I asked Norm. The table delay is in ROUNDS.

Don - thanks for the response, appreciate it very much.

Just a quick follow-up to clarify: I assume this links up to the hands/hour rate we set on the "Setup" screen, so that if I set hands/hour to 100 and a delay of 1 round, that would be equivalent to a 6/10 minute delay, or 36 second delay. Correct? I ask because I am really trying to set a delay in seconds as opposed to rounds (as I usually think in terms of seconds/minutes, not rounds, when looking for tables).

    Thanks again,
    Rukus

I suppose so, but I hope you're setting the delay to a lot longer than that!

Yes, I do, too , but you have to understand Norm's point: If you're in a packed casino, with 5-6 players at every table, that's not the same as if you're in one with near-empty tables everywhere, with 1-2 players at a table. In those instances, you can decide how long a round takes and go from there.

Of course! I was just giving an example I wish the delay was that short!

Definitely makes sense, which is why he let's you set hands/hour as well - different conditions, different rates.

    Appreciate the help, Don.
    Thanks,
