After setting parameters and calculating, I check "BackCount at TC/RC of". The Calc Optimum Bets button never turns red. After pressing it, the check in BackCount at TC/RC of becomes unchecked. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

That bottom button never turns red. Just do the Calc the first time, when it's red, set the spread you want, then hit the bottom button.
