Hit Man: staying under ctr radar

My trips to sin city from time to time allow me to raise the limits of my game. When moving from black level to purple level, how do I avoid having to give my SSI number?
Buying in for 2k at a time? Would prefer not to reveal this private info. Perhaps I can just buy in for less and spread my action around to more casinos?

Have to be careful on these public sites. Very technically speaking -- and please don't be angry at me for this -- not only is it considered "structuring" to try to avoid CTRs, but it is actually not even legal for someone to instruct someone how to avoid CTRs.

Sounds like you understand the concept. :-)

Mr. Don. Thank you for the response. And the subtle message ... Honestly, the motivation is not to neglect obligations to uncle sam, just don't hassle me. Am a hit and run player at dd. Pick my spots carefully when I'm having a good trip, spread purple only at night in busy places. Dress well, articulate, well educated. You'd think the fire alarm was going off the way these suits run all over the place when a middle aged guy starts betting 2 spots of purple.

Tell me about it! :-) Just the corporate mentality. They think they have a God-given right not to lose any money to anyone ... ever. Imbeciles that they are.

Hit Man: One solution Mr. Don? Maybe?

    Mr. Don
Again, the mission is to not evade the taxman. However if my girlfriend and I buy in at a 'purple dd table' for 2k instead our usual 4 or 6k, would this (temporarily) put a halt to all the interrogation as to name-rank and ssn number? Makes my lady very uncomfortable.

Hit and run. Very very disciplined and she's chatty kathy (actually elaine!). HM

It's good for the first buy-in. But, if you're in the middle of a hand, are short on chips, and get multiple splits and/or doubles, with large bets out, you're going to have to pull out more cash to complete the hand, and that's when you may encounter a problem.

More information than you should disclose on the boards!

Hit Man: Next trip a ways away for us

You're so right. We months away from another visit which is one of the reasons we have posed these questions.

You're right about the chance of a small buy in and then later having to add chips ... here come the 'buy in police'.

HM by the way happy thanksgiving.
