Bettie: Looks like I missed a good chat!

Based on Parker's free pages posts, it seems that I missed some good stuff last night, due to V and I taking advantage of a casino promotion and then having a meeting last night. There's always something to learn on those social chats, but it sounds like there was some really good info to be had last night!

I also have some bad news. The chat with Shift Manager that we had the week prior has been lost and so I won't be able to post it in the archives. We'll try and remedy the situation with another chat in the future, however.

Hope everyone had a good weekend,
    Bettie

I always miss those chats. That is the one night that don't work for me. (Fri Sat Sun all not good)

Do most of the people in here find it's the best night for them?

I would think Mon thru thursday would be better for most.

But, thats just me being selfish

    Viktor Nacht: Tuesdays...

...used to be the traditional Green Belt chat night years ago. I always liked Tuesday night. Not Monday night (since Mondays are always), not Hump Day, and Thursday/Fri get increasingly busy with casino play.

Sunday is getting harder and harder for us to make it. And there's lots of good TV on Sunday.

    Good Days,

    Not a problem for me.

Tuesday's would be better I think.

Me too; Sunday is increasingly a 'family night', which I'm not sorry about.

It would be nice if we could get some feed back from the rest of the crew.

I will absolutly make more of them on a tuesday. I can't make any on a sunday.

Let's see what people are saying.

    Parker: Sure did

There were not a huge number of people present last night, but Ralph "Silver Fox" Stricker stopped by for a bit, and Johnny C logged in around 6:30 (PDT) and was still there when I left around 8:00. He discussed the recent Grosjean/Russo verdict in detail, as well as sharing some "insider" info on the Griffin Detective Agency, among other topics. It was a most enlightening and enjoyable chat.

The only problem I would have with changing the chat night is that it has taken me the last year or so to get accustomed to Sunday!

Tuesday evening is BJ21's Green Chip chat night. I don't know if that would create a conflict for anyone.

Although I have only logged into that chat once, I feel it would not be a good idea having the same nite as BJ21. How about a compromise and go Wednesdays?

Sundays is bad for me as I am always flying at chat time. I fly out on Sunday evenings and back home on Thursdays and it so happens chat time is right when I'm at 35,000 ft. Wednesdays I have my feet on the ground and would be able to participate more.

Thing is, whatever is decided on, someone is going to have a problem with it. Seeing the quality of people attending on Sundays might mean it would be best to just LEAVE IT ALONE!

Perhaps if it were on a Tuesday or Wed, some of those great guests would not be available.

Whatever is decided on, perhaps Bettie can archive them so people like myself can take a look back.

We try to archive all guest chats, though we have lost a couple over the last year due to problems with the chat software. In general, we don't archive social chats because it allows users to be free with information that they may not share otherwise. I realize it seems as though it's been quite some time since we archived anything, and that's because we had 3 months of WSoB chats, which were really more casual in nature and only a few stayed on track long enough to be worth archiving. We have some good ideas for future chats, though, so I hope to be archiving more in the future. As always, we could use some ideas from our subscribers.

    Thanks,
    Bettie

I can relate to that. I won't be on this schedule forever, and one day I will be able to participate again and things will be okay with the world.

    Thanks,
