sfgiants: Best way to receive a comp
Greetings.
This is my first post to this forum.
I'm coming to Vegas in two weeks (Henderson to be exactr). I'll be playing at a resort and possibly GVR. How long or how much bankroll do I need to put down in order to receive a comp?

It varies tremendously by the casino and by what you're looking to have comped. Comps can include room, food, beverage, and, for high rollers, airfare reimbursement. The requirements for each of these items vary by the "swankiness" of the casino. An hour of red play might get you a buffet or coffee shop meal at the low-end joints. At Bellagio, it won't get you the time of day!
Ask a host to explain the requirements for comps you may receive.

You can probably get RFB @ GVR for about $100/hr avg. bet (4) hrs of play per day.
