Bettie: My 1st look at a finished BJ Ace Prediction

Well gang, I've just finished a cursory glance at the completed Blackjack Ace Prediction by David McDowell. Publisher Michael Dalton sent one to Don via us as a thank-you for his help, and Don was gracious enough to allow me a little peek before I receive my stock on Friday.

Just a few things: It's thorough, by golly! There isn't anything else available anywhere on ace sequencing that's not in this book. There's also a lot of hard math to back everything up, so that will make our hard-core players very happy. Don't worry, it reads very smoothly and the math-illiterates will have no trouble with it.

I also have my own, personal opinions on the design and layout of the book, as well as a few other issues that are, as I said, completely personal choices and don't effect the veracity of the content at all. However, I will point out that this book uses italics like Don uses commas!

I'm looking forward to giving it a thorough read tomorrow so I can tease you all who don't have your book yet! Don't worry; the book ships priority mail on Friday, so you should all have the book on Tuesday (damn that holiday weekend!).

(Aside to D. McDowell and M. Dalton ? I promise to pass the book on to Don tout de suite, and in the exact condition I received it. I was simply too anxious to wait 3 more days!)

(Thanks to Don for letting me open his mail!)

I, resent, that. I, don't, think, I, use, too, many, commas, at, all! :-)
