Parker: UBZ2 Single Deck surrender ?
One of the local Indian casinos offers a pretty decent single deck game: H17, DOA, DAS, LS.
That's right, surrender in a single deck game. Therein lies my problem. I use George C.'s UBZ2 count, and I have the new, updated version of the book (excellent book, btw). There are plenty of surrender indices for double deck, six deck, even SuperFun 21 - but no traditional single deck.
I finally played around with BJRM2000 and came up with the "Fab 4:"
15 vs 9 = +5
15 vs 10 = 0
15 vs A = -1
14 VS 10 = +5
Single deck, IRC = 0
Do these seem right?

I get, with one deck left, 6, -1, -3, 5.
With 0.5 deck left: 5, 2, 0, 4.

Those were the numbers I came up with from BJRM as well. My numbers above were an attempt to come up with "one-size-fits-all" indices, since I have a hard enough time remembering one index for each play, let alone two.
This game does not usually have exceptional penetration (that would be too much to ask! :-)), so I weighted my average a little toward one deck left rather than half deck.

It seems right to me: I got with my pseudo-index generator (1 deck left): +6, 0, -2, +5
Haven't you got SBA yet? Not only you'll get the exact indices but the RA ones.
Sincerely,
Cacarulo
