    MathProf: Casino Spies Question?

The issue of casino spies has come up on another Web site. I wondered what the policy was here at Don's Domain. I know that there have some obvious changes around here, so I wondered what the current rules are.

    Thanks In Advance.

    Norm Wattenberger: My thoughts

Don's off giving a couple seminars. IMO the only ways to insure no casino folk is to insist that all members are active players personally known by a respected member of the community (as with RGE Green Belt) or to run an invitation only site (as with the BJMath Workshop.) While those methods work well for those sites, I think they would take a lot of vigor out of this site. In fact I would welcome insights from someone like the Zman. If Revere were still alive, I can't imagine barring him even though he worked both sides. If you cannot guarantee no casino spies, I think it's pointless to try.

    Just my opinion,
    norm

About Blackjack: The Forum

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
