"Poker standout Phil Ivey will not play in the 2011 World Series of Poker, saying in a statement that he was "embarrassed" his online poker sponsor had not paid back players owed money when the U.S. Department of Justice shut down the operation in April.

In a statement posted on his website over the weekend, Ivey, a winner of eight World Series of Poker bracelets for individual event titles, said FullTilt Poker has not paid back players."
