    Christopher: Casino-hopping by monorailing

I need 2nd opinions about casino-hopping by monorailing. Is my plan of attack workable if I do the followings:

I'll start attacking decent games of
    1) Mandalay's 6deckers, then
    2) Luxor's 6deckers,
    3) MGM's 2deckers,
    4) Monte Carlos' 6deckers
    5) NY NY's 2&6deckers,
    6) Bellagio's 6deckers,
    7) Caesar's 6deckers,
    8) Mirage's 2deckers,
    9) Wynn's 6deckers.

I'll skip the last 2 monorail stations because LV Hilton & Sahara have bad games, which're mostly H17s & 6.5BJs.

There's one missing info I need for the above casinos: The time frames for inserting new decks of cards. In my local casinos, they remove old cards and insert new ones mostly from 7am thru 9am. How about Vegas' ? What time do the above casinos change their cards?

I appreciate any feedbacks from you guys. Thanks in advance.

First of all, you'll be hitting the NYNY before the Monte Carlo, but honestly, it will be quicker to walk between all of these stores than to use the rail. I have done your plan many times. I only use the rail when I am doing a comp and stiff at the Hilton. I shoot down to the MGM end early, play the south strip (and sometimes do a second lap down there aftger the noon shift change) and then work my way up to the Wynn and take a cab back.

Also, depending on the time of day and day of week, check the TI 2D game, and also check the PH 6D games, too. The TI game is often $25 min, which looks like your target, and the PH $25 game is H17, but RSA, DAS, LS. I'd skip the Caesar 6D game unless you are playing Hi Limit.

Can't help much with the card change, but on 2D games they seem to change them every 2-3 hours and 6D maybe twice a day.

You'd probably be better off with the $5 Deuce all-day bus pass to go up & down the Strip. You do as much walking through the casinos to the rail stops as you do from casino to casino. There's a free tram from Mirage to TI to save some shoe leather also. It should also be less tiring going down one side of the street and back up the other in the same direction as the bus.

I don't see how the PH 6D is better than Caesars. PH has a $200 max MSE rule, and there is usually only a couple of tables going and they are crowded, making wonging almost impossible. Ceasars has the same rules (not sure about rsa, but probably not at Caesars) with no mid-entry limit and better pen.

I agree with the rest of your assessment. TI is not one to leave out of the mix.

Hey all -- I just spent three days at TI and I missed this $25 2D game. When does it happen (shift) and where is it? I only saw CSMs at games below $100. (Except for their lousy 6-5 single deck which is subject to the "rule of 6" shuffle.)

It's going all day I believe. Might go up to $50 minimum during peak hours at night, but there should be a $25 table at all times. It is S17, DAS, pen .6, so it's a very good game.

It's by the cashier. If you're looking at the cashier from across the cashier, and go to the right around the cashier, you should run into them after 50 feet or so. They are right outside the hi-roller room room also.
