    Freddie: Maximum winnings

I'd search the archives, but i'm not sure which keyword to use. A friend won 2,500 plus at Ceasar's Palance at one sitting and they made him, I think, fill out some sort of application or check his ID (i'm not sure I was't there that night). I was wondering if they changed the maximum winning to report to the IRS from 10,000 to 2,500. For some other ordinance that I am not familiar with.

    Thanks for the Help!

Search the item "IRS". There is information in a thread of 5-10-05.

I won thrice that and they did'nt ask me to fill out anything. On the other hand I've been Id'd after cashing a couple of chips. It may be that they recognized your friend was an AP and just wanted to document him.
