    eric: LV Trip Report

After a year and a half hiatus, took a trip to Vegas last week. Had a blast, with a ROR of +40 units. Stayed the first couple days in Downtown. Seems like nothing's changed from over a year ago. Got flat betted within 10 minutes by the same petite Asian PC at the Plaza, who flat betted me during my last trip over a year ago. When she told me she flat betted me a year ago, I coyly told her it happened over 2 years, to which she responded that I was wrong, that it was last year in so-and-so month. Needless to say, I was impressed by their accuracy.

Played the rest of my time in Downtown at the GN. Was extremely pleased with how they handled my action, given how long my sessions were and how erratic my bets were. They no longer offered DD S17 to my disappointment.

Stayed at the Wynn at the Strip my last two days. Couldn't find a decent bj game besides the $200 min. table. Yes, the $200 min. table! It's funny how you can play the hi-roller room at the GN with quarters, and yet playing 2 bens min. at the Wynn can't even get you in their hi-limit room.

Ventured to my usual S17 DD spots at the Strip: The 'Dust, Mirage, and Bellagio. Got backed off rudely by some Donald Rumsfeld-looking PC at the Dust. Played 1/2 hour at the Mirage when I saw the PC who backed me twice within the past 3 years. Didn't feel like sticking around for Strike 3. Played without harrassment at Bellagio.

Plan on returning in December for some more fun. Anyone know of other casinos that offer DD S17, preferably face down?

i was playing quarters. Came ahead $1k for the trip.
"Rumsfeld" actually was not a PC. He came from "upstairs" or somewhere out of nowhere. The pit probably called for him. Either way, he walks in the pit, gives me the evil eye, immediately walks up to me before I have a chance to split and tells me he doesn't want my action and that i need to leave. 100% a-hole. No courtesy whatsoever. This happened on a Sunday...early evening.
