    Jay: Laughlin Day Trips?

Coming to town in a couple weeks, thinking about doing one of the free bus trips to Laughlin. Anyone have a recommendation of which company to go with? Thanks for your help.

Don't know anything about specific companies, but why would you want to waste your time in a bus? It's 95 miles between Vegas and Laughlin, which translates into about 3 hours on the bus when you could be playing, hanging poolside, or any number of things that would be more fun than a bus trip. And what happens if you get on a winning streak, or encounter a really good situation, and it's time to go? That just plain sucks.

Then again, maybe you're not a player, just some tourist who wants to see and do as much as possible while you're in the area.

Just looking for a change of scene. I'm a red chipper, and don't want to wear out my welcome on the single & double deckers downtown. I used to visit Laughlin often in the 80's when I lived in AZ, but haven't been there since. I thought it would be a hoot to go cruise the river casinos for a day, especially since it's a free trip.

You're right that the bus ride isn't the most exciting part of it though. Maybe it'll let me get some sleep that I find so hard to get in Vegas.

I'd bet that if you called the Riverside in Laughlin they could tell you all about it. From my recollection, you have to get up before 7:00 to be ready to go from Las Vegas, and thy pick you up from your hotel. To early for me.
