    Brick: Conditions.

I was not questioning why you let the post stand, but questioning why some card counters give out info that is detrimental to the CC community. BR's post being one of them.

While I agree that normal pit bosses understand newbies are apt to make mistakes,it's also very likely mnagement may take a CLOSER look at their pit conditions if there's blabbing on the internet about their specific casino.

How would you like it if you have frequently been visiting a casino for years and found a sloppy dealer who at times will make mistakes or possibly use a sloppy shuffle and some jerks' on the internet are happy to blab about these conditions of your particuliar casino?

    Bettie: Making it worse

A single post about conditions such as instigated this whole thread, while not ideal, is made only more noticable to the casinos by 5 follow-up posts bringing attention to the fact that these are good advantge play conditions. If casino personnel are monitoring these boards, it would have been easy to skip over such a post until it was made worse by the hullabaloo that followed. My main suggestion is to never put the name of a casino in the subject heading if you are going to post any details at all because it will only alert them to the fact that they are being talked about, bringing on their scrutiny. If I, personally, were going to bust the post now, it'd be because of all of the follow-up.

    Brick: Actually,

the brief comments Vicky and I made may awaken BR (or anyone else for that matter)to think twice next time they post about specific conditions. Once in a while somebody needs to speak up. BR's post is nothing to be commended for.

I didn't commend the original post; I censured the follow-up posts.

    litcrit: Oops!

Geez, I didn't mean to cause a hullaballoo. I just asked if people had seen the 3:2 single deck being played. Hope it's still there when I arrive! Thanks anyway for all the comments; I love the controversy!

    Buick Riviera: HOGWASH

    > I often wonder why some self-proclaimed card
    > counters often post info like this on the
    > internet. They obviously know casino lurkers
    > are all over the net.

    Hogwash

    1. The game conditions that I posted were at least 4 weeks old at the time of posting.

    2. The game conditions were the lead paragraph on the first page of the April 2005 CBJN.

    3. The game conditions were posted on other internet public boards at least one week prior to the April 2005 CBJN.

    4. Presumably, given the age of this information, these game conditions are posted on Trackjack (although Parker seemed surprised to hear of them).

    3. I on purpose never responded to litcrit?s query until I saw that someone else had supplied similar information AND Parker had thanked them.

    4. That I got lucky enough to play one day out of three on what was apparently ?dealer audition day? isn?t exactly an ongoing game condition.

    5. Parker, you have a thankless job in policing these boards. You know I hold you, and this board, in high esteem. I might merely suggest that if a legitimate answer to a legitimate question is not wanted then you would do well to bust the question in the first place rather than implicitly invite an answer by leaving it up there for a couple days.

To the rest of you, get off your butts and find the good games. This wasn?t even the best one downtown. Or the second best for that matter.

    Parker: Re: HOGWASH

The only part of your post that I (and others as well, I think) was uncomfortable with was the part about break-in dealers and mistakes. You won't find that in TrackJack, CBJN, or anywhere else.

I don't follow the conditions closely at some downtown casinos because I am no longer welcome at them. :-)

Glad to hear it. Hmm . . . single deck is back, the grills are back, . . . maybe there is hope for the new management after all.

A bowl of beans or a cheeseburger at the 'Shoe, er, Binion's snack bar after a long night at the tables is one of life's little pleasures.

    Brick: You dont understand?

Now come on,are you that naive...do you really think we're talking about how you said 3/2 is back and 6/5 is gone?

A casino getting rid of 6/5 for 3/2 should be posted it's good publicity and proves many gamblers will not play 6/5,therefore casinos are reverting back to traditional blackjack.

Duh,so what other conditions could we possibly be talking about? And they're NOT listed in TJ or CBJN. You seem to be the one posting HOGWASH.
