Sonny: Anyone seen the show "Breaking Vegas"? Any good? *NM*
-
Bettie: Never heard of it.
Is it a serial or a Discovery channel special or what? I've seen nearly all of the History / Discovery / A&E channel shows on Vegas, but don't watch "Vegas" or "CSI" type things. I watch enough television as it is!

Pretty interesting show - dramatization of the MIT team operation with interviews of the people involved. Check this link:

Sonny: Yeah, History Channel
It sounds pretty cool, but you never know. I've always been a "wait for the movie" kind of literary critic.

Norm Wattenberger: Very well done
I'm sure there's a bit of hype here and there and none of these shows are entirely historically accurate. But overall I thought the show was interesting and captured a lot of the tension and emotion of BP team play. They have played it several times and expect they will again. It's also on DVD.

Saw it on History Channel. I am sure it will be repeated.
It is done in docu-drama format (with recreation of actual events) and is the "Pre-quel" to the book "Bringing Down the House", as its place in time is before the events covered in tome. If you read that book and enjoyed it, you will also like this film as well. It tells more about the organizers of the team, their goals, methods of recruitment, training and compensation to the players.
Worth a look.
