    paranoid android: room comp question

What betting levels are required to get rooms comped at the 4 and 5 star strip casinos? Thanks.

I general, $400 average bet for a period of 4 hours a day for places like Bellagio. That's a generality based both on what I hear and some of what I've experienced in the past. Perhaps others have more exact figures. You can always call and ask for a host to question, too.

One huge money play did it for me,
Now a couple times a year they send me 3 weeknights free,
100 in gaming chips and 50 in meal vouchers.
and know I did not play for hours merly one short session. A nice large hotel room too,at a famous strip hotel.4stars.

    methodman: the play was

The money play was for $500 cash, only one hand.Of course the pit was right beside me, and with a pissed off look I pulled out the 5 large and yelled how I was going to go for it, and get some cash back.
    This worked at the Paris.

So was it for $500 or 5 Large? (using my old school gambler slang 5 Large = $5,000 -- $500 would be 5 dimes)

4 star (non Bellagio and Venetion): you can get the room comped for 4hrs play per day at around $110-$125/hand average bet, sometimes lower.

It took me one visit and $500 spent over 2 days (I won a lot back).

I got 2 nights at The Mirage & $100 FREEPLAY cash which I'm using June 30, and 3 nights/2 buffets & 2x FREEPLAY which I'm using in September.

I dont know what $500 spent means. The casinos rate you by average bet and hours played. The #s I posted are what casinos such as the Mirage, Palms, and others use to return comps.
