Wow! I spend a weekend getting my butt kicked in Vegas and this page explodes! Yes Bettie, we really like you That city sounds fascinating! Another reason there are so many transplants from Chicago in Vegas is because it's FRIGGEN COLD in Chicago! Vegas is the warmest place they can think of and actually have a decent city nearby(maybe besides Phoenix). I am originally from the northeast, so I thought the same thing. Only I never quite made it to Vegas, got stuck in Laughlin for a year and then skipped over a little further west I figure sooner or later Im going to give up the land of multimillion dollar shacks and head back to the desert....but I will miss those 70 degree days in August...
