"Few players realize the stunning potential of *skilled* play on the Dark Side".

yyz, keep an open mind and be willing to think outside the box. Be one of the few, not one of the many.

    Best to you,

Forget it! That's the middle of no place.

Downtown Las Vegas has a number of $2 crap tables with 10x odds. Example The Plaza. Also, the dealers are very friendly. Main Street station has 20x odds with a $3 line bet.

The Joker's Wild located on Boulder Highway in Henderson, which is about 10 miles south of downtown Las Vegas, has a $0.50 craps table.

The Casino Royale, across the street from the Mirage, has a $2 table with 100x odds.
I haven't been there in a couple of years so it may have changed.

I live and shoot craps in Las Vegas at least once a week. I switch and play both sides. I must say that I seldom catch flack betting the don't , but then I keep my mouth shut and just watch my game. I have a lot of friends who are dealers and work the pit so I spend time talking to them-- but never exhorting the spirits
of some dead crapper. That's a lack of class and completely uncalled for.

Lastly, there aint no such thing as a "skilled dice thrower". There are no Michael Jorden shooters. I guarantee that a monkey can shoot as well as me or anyone on this website. It never fails, every session I see dozens of guys who think they have the "gift". They may have one or two average hands but nothing to write home about. Someone once told me that you can't handicap a shooter. He's only as good as his currant hand.

If you are trying to be an advantage craps player you must use all the tools at your disposal. Playing the don'ts gives you the lowest house edge and a skilled throwah can throw the seven easier than any number. The reason you have not seen many skilled shotahs around is that there are not that many, but when you see one you will be a believer!

Just recently while playing the dont's I did all I could to rattle the shooter, yes, he was angry and constantly insulted me but I kept my cool and the table enjoyed the verbal combat. After awhile his girl was hanging all over me and he had to drag her away, literally, as he ended up buying me the most expense drink in the house when I accepted a side bet that I would roll the seven on the next roll and not the point. I so humiliated him that he cut his casino stay 2 days short rather than face me again. Although I did miss his cute little girlfriend.

The lesson her sammy, play to win, use what you have, and forget about making friends at the table. Be a winner.

    Ouch/ez.

No, the lesson here is this:

Don't be so greedy with the cards that you get 86'd from the place; don't be so greedy with the dice that you 86 the hot girlfreind two days early!

I mean, how much money is enough!

And the answer is: Railroad Pass Casino on the way to Hoover Dam. Yes, they have one craps table with 25cent min and 5X odds that is open from 11am to 11pm. Lots of cheap entertainment.

When I play craps I'm surprised that no one teams up with their friends to reduce the house edge. How you ask is this possible? You each take turns putting out the pass line bet then when the point is made you all contribute to the maximum odds behind the one pass line bet. With only two players that reduces the house edge in half for the same betting amount per person or has the same house edge for half the betting amount. This allows you to play higher stakes craps tables with good odds bets (5X-10X) as long as you have several team players.

Another approach is becoming friendly with a player who is not putting out maximum odds on his pass line bet. Then getting him to allow you to add to his odds bet (with ZERO house advantage to you).

In the post in which you first mentioned this game, you said, " Hint: it's a 40 minute drive from the Strip."

How do you get around Las Vegas? Bicycle?

It's shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes to get from the strip to Railroad Pass, even if you hit all the lights red.
