Mike H: SuperFun 21 vs. BJ pays 3:2
What game would be better?
1. Single Deck Blackjack, 1-3 spread, 2 rounds to 4 players, 4'th Base, H17, Late Surrender, DAS, BJ pays 3:2
2. Single Deck SuperFun 21, 1-X spread, 2 rounds to 5 players, 5'th Base, DAS, Surrender any # cards, Double any # cards, 5 card 21 automatically pays 2:1, 6 card no bust automatically pays 1:1, and any SuperFun rules I'm not aware of... I think BJ is automatic 1:1.
The Blackjack table has 5 seats and the SuperFun table has 6 seats, thus the extra player.
Approximately what kind of bet spread would make the SuperFun an equivalent game? The Score for the first game with a level 2 count is about 52. If anyone can sim the SuperFun game for comparison I would appreciate it.

I took matters into my own hands and created a playing strategy according to wizardofodds. According to Shackleford the house advantage is supposed to be 1.16%. My sim with 2 rounds to 5 players all playing basic strategy gave an IBA of -0.68% (not consistent with the wizard so maybe something is set up wrong). Anyway I forged ahead and added an ace neutral level 2 unbalanced count with only the insurance index. Then I attached a 1-12 bet spread with the max bet a little above the pivot and got an IBA of 0.8% and a Score of 20... a 1-20 spread gives a 1.1% IBA and a Score around 30. Since my flat bet results were better than Shackleford's expectation I highly doubt that these results are attainable. Bottom line is you would need an astronomical bet spread to beat the SuperFun 21 game and the bankroll to go with it. Any spread that large would be practically impossible to pull off.
