HockeXpert: Seminole Hardrock Hollywood, Florida opens

The Seminole Hardrock on opening night had 12-$100/5000 8d with 1 3/4-2d penetration with asms; 20-$25/2500 with 8d same penetration with asms and 16 - $25/5000 csm's. All BJ rules the same on all tables: S17, double any 2, das, split to 4, split aces get 1 card, bj pays 3:2, no surrender. Penetration varied by dealer.

    They also had 6-$25 3 card poker, 3-$25 let it ride, 3-$20/2500 pai-gow poker and 2-$25/5000 mini-baccarat.

The place was VERY crowded so I couldn't see all of the tables but I think I listed them all. I've read that minimums will reduce to the $5-$15 range at slow times. Carmen Elecktra and a ton of sports stars were on hand for the Grand Opening.

the very prompt update. I'm assuming getting a players card would accrue points for something. I've never been at the Hard Rock even though I'm a snowbird and spend the winter months in Delray Beach, playing BJ one to two days a week at the PBP.

Probably won't have these games for long, as table games are actually illegal in the state of Florida and the governor's compact, which gave the Seminole exclusive rights to putting in table games, was just overturned by the FL Supreme court. Link to the story below.

Here is a personal experience of Seminole comps. My wife plays slots (ugh!) while I play BJ. She orders a bottle of water and the waitress charges her $2 for it.

There is a second possibility. The four Slot parlors want the table games as well, in order to compete with the Hard Rock. This may be the compromise since the Supreme Court Ruling will not shut down the Hard Rock Table Games. Only the Bureau of Indian Affairs (a/k/a The Feds) can shut it down.

I don't know if you are aware that the PBP (Palm Beach Princess) filed for bankruptsy since you were last there.
