    bjcounter2002: BS deviations

I have a question for deviations based on "match play" coupons. For anyone not familiar with match play coupons, they are basically casino matched vouchers equalling your bet i.e. $20 of your money $20 via voucher. However, they typically pay even money on the match play portion of the bet on a BJ, and you can't double down the match play portion of your bet.
My question is how to deviate from BS doubling rules based on a 8 deck,H17,LS,DAS game. I am assuming because you are effectively "doubling for less" that you don't double the borderline
doubles such as soft doubles i.e. A4 vs 4. Additionally, if you surrender your bet, you lose the entire match play coupon and half of your own wager. So, naturally, there is no incentive to surrender. Can anyone help me with the strategy in this situation? Thanks.
