    10Splitter: MS Gulf Coast

Planning a rare trip to the Mississippi gulf coast soon. I am wondering where the best blackjack games are. I plan on playing red with a 1-8 spread.

    Thanks in advance.

Single deck-Copa, Double deck-President,Treasure Bay, The Palace(not the Imperial Palace!),6 deck-Beau Rivage, President, The Palace. The rest are pretty much waste of time for blackjack.

Copa has LS on all its games, but poor pen. except for a few individual dealers. Only other LS is the 6d at Beau Rivage. You have to look for really good pen. My wife says President usually has 60-65 card pen. at 2d. I haven't been able to play there for some time. They sweat the action there more than most! At times you'll find really good pen. at T. Bay in their 2d.

    Good Luck

Good analysis. That pretty well sums it up, especially regarding the President and Treasure Bay. Treasure Bay may be more friendly because they suffered some down time from the storm damage a while back.
    Good Luck.

If you play 6D at the Beau, watch the dealer placement of the cut card. Their shoes have a notch which sets the pen at 4.5/6, but a few dealers will angle the cut card back, effectively giving 5/6 pen. Not terribly crowded during the day, either. Good pen, decent rules, and no heat for 1-12 spread red action make for an enjoyable and beatable game. Best...

    10Splitter: How busy after Thanksgiving?

I appreciate the responses to my question of the types of games available in Biloxi/Gulfport.

I am also wondering how busy the casinos are down there in the days following turkey day. In particular, how crowded will it be the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after Thanksgiving?
