    ucsd_superboy: Golden Acorn

Recently made my first trip to the Golden Acorn casino, what caught my eye was an ad for their blackjack tournament held last tuesday of every month. Any info(rules, participants, etc..) would be appreciated.

Entry fee is $25. Six players to a table, each player gets $200 in tournament chips. Twenty hands dealt, and biggest winner goes to next round. You can re-buy in for $15. Prize money is $5000 total, split among the top six. Comp hors d'oeuvres are served.

I haven't played this tournament, so I don't have any attitional info on typical number of players, rounds, how the prize money is divided, etc.

You could call them at (619) 938-6000.

They have a website, www.goldenacorncasino.com but it is not terribly informative.
