ReKO kid: Process hints

All: I'm in the process of switching to the ReKO count and was wondering if you could give me any hints for a standardized procedure for sweeping the table to count -- I do much better when I have a standard procedure that I follow at all times, a pattern of eye movement, let's say. For instance, is it best to count each card immediately as it comes out of the shoe, to wait until the second card is played to match pairs, or to wait until the player plays the hand and then match up pairs, etc. I tend to like to sit at first base.

In general, it is much better to wait for all players to get their cards and then count the cards in pairs. Then count all further cards one at a time. But, variations in how you count are also good as it does not make you look robotic.

What I have found is that you will just naturally fall into a method that works for you, no matter what you may first try.

Thanks -- after a few weeks working with the CV software, it all just kind of clicked naturally. Started recognizing patterns, cross-canceling hands, etc. THANKS -- the software saved my life.
