    BJinNJ: A sure 150% beats a maybe 200%

    That's the good reason.
Has anyone ever done this, or seen it done?
Does it bring unwanted attention? Surely it does.
Does it destroy the 'flow' of the ploppy cards? Surely
    it does.

    Opens a can of worms.

Where's the question? What is this commenting upon?

It appears that you might be discussing doubling down on a natural, which would be ridiculous. But, if the question is, instead, doubling on A,T, after splitting aces, then, of course, you don't receive 3 to 2 for the 21, and there are indices for doubling, although I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

Maybe someone can explain where the original question went.
