    Newplayer: One Kelly's ROR?

    Will any one tell me what is ROR betting 1 Kelly? 1/2 Kelly? Thanks.

    1 Kelly = 13.5%, sort of. Kelly criterion assumizes you resize perfectly at every decision. If this is done, the ROR approaches 0%. 13.5% assumes to take your bankroll and find the optimal betting ramp for just that one moment. Then you play and bet that way without respect to you ever changing BR. 1/2 kelly is somewhere around 5%, not exactly sure off-hand.

    Half-Kelly would .135*.135=1.83%.

    I think doubling an original unit roll by halving the size of the original $unit will always create an ROR that is the original ROR squared.
