Myooligan: "correct" card counting technique
I just read an old BJF article by Kyle Sever suggesting that most people use "bad form" when they count cards, and as a result are both inefficient and obvious in their counting. He recommends "visualizing" the count rather than saying it in your head. At the present, I do something sort of in between: I group a series of cards, and combine their total with the previous RC, so I only end up "saying" a number in my head after seeing a group of cards. I have tried to do what Sever is talking about, without success. But, I'm reminded of my aikido classes where it often took a long time to reteach my stubborn body the right way to do a technique.
Alors, senseis, am I to keep on trying?

Jack Fate: Re: "correct" card counting technique
When I'm playing my "A" game I can scan the table and get the count on the cards on the layout in just a second or two, but I sometimes have trouble plugging that number into the count I had before the hand was dealt. This happens mostly when fatigue sets in. When I say the number in my head and count as they are dealt I wear out alot faster.
