    thall: huge difference in systems

I recently counted thru 4 decks for fun simutaneously counting Revere's APC and HiOpt I. There index numbers are almost identical. However, the true counts were often far from it. At on time the APC true count was 58 while HiOpt was 48. This was primarily due to Aces yet to be played and 7's already dealt. I can't help but be concerned about a flaw in my betting. In the same situation using APC I would be max betting while minimum bets with HiOpt. I'm either losing part of my advantage with HiOpt (by underbetting with positve count) or throwing away my advantage with APC (by overbetting with negative count). They can't both be right. A side count of Aces would rectify some of this but hardly explain the discrepency.

Didn't make any sense to me, either.
