    Anon for now: Terminology?

Just curious... What is the proper term for someone who either spreads $10 - 2 x $30 at DD or backcounts shoes and flat bets $50. Am I a "Red Chipper" or a "Green Chipper".

I realize that I am opening myself up for some pretty obvious pot shots with this question and I am relying upon your maturity to at least come up with some creative insults

    I'd call you a red-low green bettor. :-)

While there are no hard and fast rules, the terms most commonly refer to the table minimums. If you usually play at $5 or $10 min tables, you are a red chip bettor, if you play at $25 min tables you are a green chip bettor.

So, you might be considered a red chip bettor on the DD game and a green chip bettor on the shoes.

    Like I said, red/low green.

You must think you're at some other website.

Neither. I would call you a Mellow Yellow Chipper (because that's what you get when you mix red and green).

Actually, if you mix red & green lights you get yellow. But if you mix red & green pigments, you get brown.

    Sorry, I couldn't resist either

Of course you're correct on the pigment observation but I hesitated to label our poster a Brown Chipper for fear 1) He'd be perceived as a Sweaty Spaniard regular or 2) He'd be perceived as a pasture paddy.

So as always, I took the high road. :-)

Thanks for the clarification. By the way Parker, you are right... I usually post on that "other" site that is so well known.
