Last several visits to Harrah's Metropolis, IL their AC has been failing - dealers sweating, players sweating - everybody smoking, really skanky (?). Lower limit all ASM. High limit $25 tables 6D hand shuffle - PC watching like a hawk. One floor with many lower limit tables - all CSM for your gaming pleasure. Good buffet, brand new hotel, eager to give away free rooms and free money coupons..

Grand Victoria Rising Sun, IN - now has Shufflemaster multi-player huge screen video BJ - I'm told its 6D, but they never let you know when they shuffle!

Tunica - both Resorts and Horseshoe lower limit are now 8D! Hollywood and Gold Strike have 6D but its ASM.

Ballys - I thought I found the golden goose when I found a $5 SD game. The dealer let me cut and that's how deep he dealt (75-80%)- I kept nudging 1 or 2 cards deeper and he went for it every time! (I usually just play shoe) - There were some really liberal rules, and then I read the fine print that non-suited BJs pay even money!! It turns out it was a version of super-fun 21. I was however able to make some money spreading 1-2 and 1-4 in plus counts - is this a beatable game?

1 dealer only shuffled three times and another would do it 6 times! Are dealers instructed by their casino to shuffle a certain way, and so many times, or is it left to their choice?

Aztar Caruthersville, MO - left after only 2 shoes with a few dollars profit and the PC made it a point to pick up the sheet (what's that called the log sheet at each table with info on players ?), study my name, make sure he pronounced my last name correctly and then gave me the eagle-eye stare as if to commit me to his memory vault. Again, a new dealer who could not figure out how to pay my insurance bet!

Caesars Indiana all lower limit is and has been for over a year all 8D and ASM. Tried to wong in at TC3 at a single player table (6 decks remaining), and the player asked me to wait - the nerve! wait six decks? I knew he was a ploppy by his erratic bets in low counts, and I had been counting from afar and he showed up much later.

Does anyone know how long it takes to deal and play 6,5,4 decks, etc, with different numbers of players? Trying to calculate how much of a bathroom break to take when wonging out...

6D low limit hand shuffle seems to be disappearing throughout the midwest..

Never really tried to play roulette, but I have noticed that many casinos have numbers that repeat within 20-30 spins, more so than when I have practiced for fun with an online game. Is this called a biased wheel? Are roulette wheels on boats (even moored ones) harder to keep perfectly balanced?
