In the state of Missouri, the law only allows a player to buy-in for $500 every two hours and players are not legally permitted to exchange chips. A computer system in the casino uses your player's card to keep track of your buy-ins for slots, tournaments, and table games.

At most casinos in Missouri, the buy-in limit resets at even hours (10:00, 12:00, 2:00, etc). So if you buy $500 in chips at 1:59 p.m., you can buy another $500 at 2:01 p.m. Also, the law only regulates your buy-ins, not your play. High-limit players, by necessity, don't cash their chips in when they leave and are always buying chips, even if they don't need them right away.

Tips for high-limit players in Missouri:
    1. DON'T cash in your chips when you leave. If you need $5000 in chips, it will take you 10 buy-in sessions, or 20 hours, to legally buy-in for that much.
    2. DON'T forget to bring your chips back when you visit the casino again. Otherwise, you will have to do the buy-in ballet all over again.
    3. DO constantly buy-in for the max of $500, even if you have plenty of chips right now. Otherwise you will get caught in a positive shoe, but will experience a negative flux that will wipe out your chip supply and you won't be able to finish the shoe. Not finishing a positive shoe costs you positive expected value.
    4. DO use the restroom if you need to do a black market chip transaction with a friend. The casinos do not have cameras in the bathrooms, and it's the only place in the casino you can safely exchange chips without getting caught. A stranger I was playing with sold me $2000 of his chips for $2020 (a 1% "transaction fee") so I could keep playing high-limit until I could buy more chips on my own.

I know they are not legally allowed to back off an AP according to State gaming law, but are they allowed to take conter measures such as changing penetration, early shuffle, flat bet restriction, etc? What is the max bet allowed currently?

    Thanks,

    Enzo
