    hard18: Casino Cheating

Having played over 3000 hours of advantage blackjack I can honestly say that I have never suspected any cheating on the behalf of the casino(I once saw a player repeatedly capping bets, he was pretty sloppy, but he was not caught and I havent seen him since)

I would like to see the results of a mock survey with people just replying whether or not they have ever suspected any cheating and if so a region or state could be added.

    Good Luck

I once thought I was dealt seconds at a pitch game but I now think it was only a very bad run. But I still wonder a little.

It has been said that SE used to bring out loaded shoes, never saw it myself but some posters through the years swear they did. This was in the past, however. The game sucks so bad now they don't have to cheat. I think if they did it was to beat some very skilled counters that used to play there. They WERE famous for changing dealers every other hand and changing shuffles when you began to win. Saw that many times. I think that is a form of cheating.

I have never seen any players cheat.

As for me, I am so *Friggin* skilled some may say I cheat all the time. :-)

    Hard 18,
since you have so many hours in can you tell me how important the accomodations are to your success or lack of it on the felt? I am still trying to figure out if I should just limit my play to casinos with at least 4 star hotels. One "great" bj personality seems to think this is most important, especially the size of the soap, restaurants, decor, etc. What do you think?

    Ouch/ez.

To tell ya the truth I hate sleeping in Casino Hotels. I just never feel like I get a good night's sleep, so as you can imagine I drive a lot. I am thinking about getting a motor home for my BJ ventures and other vacationing. So to answer your question I dont care if the place has a roof if it has good rules/pen/ect.

Restaurants are another story however, I love a good gourmet meal and if its on someone else's dime that just makes it that much better.

ComboProf: I have been dealt seconds

at slots of fun. I unfortunately was so tired at the time I did not catch it until the end. How do
I know? Well quite simply I know how to deal seconds and know what to look for. Don't play
    when your tired or sick.
