Insults, what insults? I'm trying to simply give an example why it's possible that OZ's post may NOT make perfect sense to some of us card counters who frequently(too often)venture out in the real "brick" not "internet"of blackjack. What is it you dont understand or find insulting?

My mood and thoughts remain the same. OZ's information is about as useless as a one legged frog.

The "Midwest Masters Of Advantage" have a get together I will extend an invitation for you to attend.

We will show you how you can both play with an advantage and have fun at the same time and then, I believe, you will have a much improved disposition.

As to Norm, he is one of the *good guy's* and you really have no need to pillory him, pull in those horns Brick.

I am you're target, not Norm.

As for internet play, Brick, I have a pro friend that is making a fortune doing just that.

    Regards,
    Ouchez, Outchez, Oz.

Yes your mood does remain the same. I shall not bother reading your posts.

Brick: So I disagree with your "perfect sense".

Norm,we should all understand that everyone has a right to an opinion, even if they disagree with you or not. Maybe you'll understand why I agree to disagree with what you say... makes "perfect sense" and accept the fact why I call this perfect nonsense.

Think about it Norm,"perfect" is nothing but a four letter word the way you used it. I'm the real thing(a struggling card counter in action)and my thoughts and moods still remain the same.

    "THIS THREAD IS USELESS."

Well, to(hopefully) most of us who visit this page.

    Period.

Agreed. However the initial post by Ouchez was at least interesting. It seems the useless part started with the second post of the thread.

    > I am the real thing (a struggling card counter in action) ...

A tip from me -read the posts and force yourself to interact only with those that make you a bettor player. (Exactly NOT what I am doing here.)

    Parker: The problem

I understand where you are coming from, and you have a legitimate point. Unfortunately, that point is being lost as people respond to your name-calling and insults.

The problem is not what you are saying, but how you are saying it. It is possible to disagree, and even to say that "this thread is useless," without attacking the posters.

Everyone benefits (and might possibly even learn something) if we can keep the discussion on a pleasant, civil level.

Finally, (it's really hard to type this), I must commend Ouchez for his diffusing of the situation.

I really never understood Brick's point. Ouchez was only reciting information lifted from some Federal hearing on casinos; information the casinos probably reported themselves.

Those stat's are not a secret to the casinos. They know it all to well.

BJ tables will only continue to exist as long as the casino perceives they have value -tangible or intangible.

I guess there are those who visit here such as SR who think OZ's information about Motor City is very interesting, but I find it downright disgusting. However I'm sure Motor City's casino competitors would find it interesting.

The odd illusion of his diffusing post is.. what in world is he trying to prove by posting this garbage!?

Is it true OZ buddies up to gaming employee's? My guess is he enjoys climbing fences. I think I'll pass on his personal invitation to me,besides I bet more than nickels

First of all, I said interesting, not "very interesting."

Second of all, it's public information man. You think Ouchez clued them in to something they didn't already know?

    (Why am I doing this?)

    Brick: answer

    SR>(Why am I doing this?)

Because you may look at blackjack as a funny little hobby, that's why. One of the reasons our game(not yours)is becoming more difficult is because of the years of internet information on message boards that is constantly being exchanged.

If no one here understands my point, then I have nothing else to say except this page must consist of professional hobbiest, consultants, lurkers, internet BJ pros, and gaming employees. I will not waste my time any longer trying to express a simple point of view that should be understandable to even the lamest.

Insult after insult after insult. What is wrong with you?

Look, there is nothing in this thread unknown to casinos for decades. NOTHING. You appear to be the only person that did not know this - yet you go on and on and on about how everyone else is ignorant and that you are the only person in the world that plays BJ for money. This is becoming boorish.

Richard Wolk: third floor entrance at Motor City Casino

On Tuesday night, January 17th, 2005, it was so cold at the coat room inside the third floor entrance to the Motor City Casino that I felt bad for the ladies who were working there.
