Electric Kid: Ouchez, I'm getting your emails..

I also have your phone number from the post you put up although I still think I have it from an old email you sent me. I will call you when my plans are finalized. Any good time to call.

PS. I'm glad you deleted your post which had your phone number. This is something I sure don't recommend doing. With reverse phone number lookup its easy to find out where anyone lives given just a phone number.

    Ya,

You are right, it is just that I am so trusting of my BJ Bro's and Sistah's.

I was UP on Monday and had a BLAST.

    Played mostly 6d.

A few other AP's were there, one very famous player and celebrity.

One very fine player I did not get a chance to meet. Too busy playing and having a good time.

    Weather was great, almost 90!

The Frenchmen and Crew may be forming a social BJ players group called the "Midwest Masters of Advantage" using e-mail to communicate and having regular get togethers at different casinos etc. It sounds like it will be a secure group dedicated to passing inside info and having fun as well as helping each other play better and win more.

I hope to see you REAL soon.

RP: Off the subject, but what's great about 90?

    > Weather was great, almost 90!

IMHO, the one advantage to the climate in the "polar regions" is that you usually don't have to endure temps in the 80's and 90's.

Glad to hear you had a blast. :-)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that reverse phone number lookup doesn't work for non-published numbers. I certainly hope that it doesn't. BTW, I don't think it works for cell phones either. Does anybody know if that's correct?

I think the large body of water makes 90 much more pleasant.

I did have a blast and so would you have had if you were there.

    Why not come UP sometime?

You can meet E.Kid and a few others.

We have fun and play a fine game.

    The scenery is beautiful.

    Yes, you are correct.

    You are CORRECT, sir.

Meat begins to cook at around 128? and freezes at around 32?, so either extreme is equally dangerous to bare skin. If we assume comfort is linear, the median comes in at 80?. So C(90?) = C(70?), C(60?) = C(100?), etc.

    Solution: PUT SOME CLOTHES ON!!

    Then we have:
    C(t) = C(130-t)

    So in terms of comfort, 90? = 40?, 80? = 50?, and 65? is unimpeachable.

    Proof is in the pudding.

RP, Let me know if you take Joe up on the UP offer. I still want to take a trip north. I think I told you my son moved to Wisconsin. Well, That didn't last long. He is coming back this week.

    RP: Ouchez...

Thanks much for the invite. I would love to go UP to meet you and E.Kid, to take in the scenery and to play some of those great BJ games. (I would also like to learn the deadly "JaKal" system, if you would be willing to divulge its details.) Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I'll be able to make it this year. I just got back from a weeklong non-BJ trip, and already have plans for a weeklong BJ trip. There's a slight possibility that I might be able to go UP in early-September (I've heard that that's a good time because the weather is still nice and the main tourist season is over), but it's doubtful at this point. If I can make it, though, I'll let you know. When I recently met "Little Hemingway" on a BJ trip, he told me that you are a superb host. If I can't make it UP this year, it will definitely be a top priority for me to do so next year. Thanks again. Good cards to you.

    Thanks for the kind words.
